I met Caren during my employment at Motor Vehicles. She was both a mentor and a friend to me. We laughed together; talked together; and she shared precious moments with me (my daughter's wedding; my brother's funeral; my retirement). There was never a question but that we would remain life-long friends. Her strength and dignity during her illness are humbling. I will always remember Caren with love and laughter.
