Life Story for Carmen Vargas

Carmen Vargas was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in 1936. She moved to New York in 1956 which became her home and where she raised her four children, Iris, Rosemary, Miriam, and Danny. She was a loving mother who fought to raise her children single-handedly. Carmen was also a devoted grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Sylvia, Jason, Christopher, Joy, Nicholas, Daniel, David, and Rosa. Her life was further blessed by her great grandchildren, Justin, Noel, Sophia, Annabel and Rafael who brought tremendous joy to her life. Carmen was all about family and she was so happy to have had the special extended members of her family which included Manny, Pablo, Anthony, Amber and Farrell, she loved them and was so grateful for their presence in her children's and grandchildren's lives. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all who have extended their sympathies. They say their mother was the root of their family tree and will forever be missed and never forgotten. They pray that she is in peace now with her dear daughter Miriam and that they are both happy to finally be in embrace.
