Life Story for Paul Ramjug

Life Story for Paul Ramjug

Paul Ramjug was born on November 7, 1928 on the Caribbean island of Trinidad. His mother’s name was Soogi and his father’s name was Choli. He also had five siblings.

Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna, and their children – Debra, Roger, Peter and Ronnie. Another son, Anthony, passed away shortly after his birth. Seven grandchildren also survive him.

Paul’s career began at Textile Manufacturing Co. in the Trinidadian city of Arima. He later moved his young family to the United States where he worked at various companies before retiring as a maritime claims adjuster at an insurance company.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking. He was often in the kitchen making Trinidadian dishes like roti, curry chicken and steamed fish.

Paul was dedicated to the betterment of his children. He spent more than 40 years working to provide them with opportunities that he never had. His goal was accomplished.

His family loves him and will miss his steady, calming influence.
