Obituary for Robert Carollo
Robert Philip Carollo, 61, of Middle Villlage, Queens, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at NYU Langone, NYC.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 4:00pm at Hillebrand Funeral Home. Church services will be held at Our Lady Of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Middle Village on Saturday, November 14 at 9:45am. Burial will follow at St John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
Robert was born on February 27, 1959 in Forest Hills. A short year later, his family moved to Middle Village Queens. Rob attended St Margaret's Catholic Elementary School and graduated from St Francis Prep High School.
Robert was employed as a Sales Manager at Figlia & Sons NYC for the past twenty years.
Rob is survived by his wife, Myldred, his two daughters Briana and her husband Frank, Mariah and her husband Desmond, Rob's mother, Grace, his aunt Sue, his sister Linda and her husband Tony, his nephews Dean and Jordan. Rob was preceded in death by his Father, Frank in 1991.
Robert enjoyed playing baseball since he was a young boy with dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. His favorite team was the NY Yankees.
Robert was dedicated to his faith and his calling to serve others. He was very close to his church family. Rob loved his family, spending much time with his daughters, mom and aunt. He enjoyed staying at his home in the Poconos and going for long walks, exercising, enjoying a good meal with good company. He took much pride in working on his houses and seeing the results of his labor.
