Kathleen Alice Wilson
April 2, 1930 – March 3, 2021
Kathleen A. Wilson passed away on Wednesday March 3, 2021. She was one month shy of her 91st birthday. She lived a long and happy life full of lots of family, strong faith, and love of the NY Met's, burnt hot dogs and Werther's butterscotch.
Kathleen was born on April 2, 1930 to Mary & Ernest Lynch. She grew up in Richmond Hill with her parents and two brothers, John and Ernest. On June 21, 1952 Kathleen married Daniel Wilson. They had eight children together. She is predeceased by her parents, her two brothers, husband Danny and two sons, Gary and Douglas. She is survived by her children Jean [Gary], John [Helen], Brian [Mary Ellen], Gerard [MaryAnn], Maureen [Christine Griloci], Judith McCleary [Mike], and Patrick [Diana]. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Bryan [Kaara], Gregory, Taylor, Sean, Brian [Aileen], Melissa [Mike Eldred], Samantha, Rachel, James, Kaitlyn, Yvette & Melany. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Grace, Jack Gary, Arthur, Connor, Violet, Ayden & Jasmine.
Wake will be held at Hillebrand Funeral Home 63-17 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374 on Sunday, March 7 3-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial is at Our Lady of Victory, 2 Floral Pkwy, Floral Park, NY at 10:30 on Monday, March 8th, followed by internment in St John’ Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
