Ricky Kyin-Kok Ma peacefully passed away on March 7, 2021, in Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey at 70 years old.

ๅ ก,่ฅฟ่ฏ้ๆ,ๆๅฑฑ (Taishan, Guangdong, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, China)
He was born in Yangon (also known as Rangoon City), Burma. As the youngest of seven children, he was cherished by his parents and all of his siblings.

He was one of the hardest working people that we ever knew. Knowing little to no English, he came to the United States at a young age. He would work very long hours in a restaurant. As an adult, he worked three jobs to support his family. He had spent more than 36 years working for Amtrak.
Even though he worked from early morning to late night, he always found the time to help others. He had sponsored so many people, who he barely knew, to start their new lives in the United States. His love and care for his family showed no bounds. He treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children.
He was never afraid to tell his honest opinions. He felt that the family should stay close, and only wanted to protect us. When the time came where his children needed to leave the nest, he never shied away, and instead showed his support, at any given moment. All he ever wanted was for his beloved children to fulfill their dreams.
Since we were very young, he would always tell us, regardless how far apart we were geographically, if we ever needed his help, all we had to do was reach out our hand, and we would feel his presence. We always thought it was silly, but now we realize it was his way of showing us he would always be there to be our pillar of strength, and maybe he was preparing us for this day.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
