Obituary for Emil M Cohill
Emil Milan Cohill passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 82.
Born in Lovran, Croatia in 1939, Emil immigrated to the US in 1952 and later settled in Woodside, NY where he lived out his life.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. Emil leaves behind his wife Antonia of 54 years; his son Ivan, daughter-in-law, Desiree and grandson Xavier; his daughter Emily; his daughter Erika, son-in-law Steve and grandchildren Drew & Louis.
Emil’s two greatest loves were his family and soccer. He dedicated his life to the sport and the youth players in and around NYC.
While we are heartbroken that he is no longer with us, we find comfort knowing he is now at peace and no longer in pain.
Heaven has gained an amazing man and referee.
