Obituary for Philip William Troy

The Troy family lamentably announces the passage of our beloved Philip William
Troy. A native of Queens, NY, he was born on February 2, 1962. Phil passed on
June 22, 2022 in Mount Sinai Main leaving behind his wife Susan and son
Brennan. He is survived by two brothers & three sisters, at least 68 nieces,
nephews, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, and his Godmother and her family. Phil
was a compassionate, erudite gourmet with great wit and a photographic memory
of the obscure. A member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, he is renown
as Master G. Tacitus Adamantius (Laurel, Maunche, Silver Crescent, Burdened
Tyger, Seahorse). His love of books, 1940s movies, Jackie Gleason & P.G.
Wodehouse carried him through life’s challenges. He redacted medieval European
recipes & family recipes for the modern kitchen. He will forever be in our hearts.
