Obituary for Marie Gloeggler

Marie (Mannarino) Gloeggler was born on August 19th, 1932 in Brooklyn New York. She was raised by her father, Tony, as part of a close-knit Italian family. She was the oldest of two children. Her younger sister Dolores preceded her in death.

Marie married the late John Gloeggler, with whom she shared four children (Anthony, John, Donna and Jaime). She loved them unconditionally with all of her heart. She also had a son in law (Robert) and a daughter in law (Hali), who she loved. The lights of her life were her four grandchildren (Bobby, Anthony, Lexi and Daniel). They brought her so much joy and happiness in her later years. Marie was cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Marie had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun with her family and friends. Her best times were spent with her loving husband John and their children. For entertainment, she played an intense Wednesday night card game with some of her closest friends for over 25 years. She enjoyed traveling with her friends to Las Vegas, sailing on many cruises and frequent trips to Atlantic City. Marie loved listening to music, watching the Yankees and cooking for her family.
