Joseph M. Watkins was born on May 3, 1954 in Queens, New York. His parents were the late Joseph P. Watkins and Sudie M. Watkins. Joseph graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1972. He began his career with the Department of Social Services in 1984 as a Computer Operator Specialist - He retired in 2017.
Joseph spent most of his time helping others. He is survived by his sister Jean Watkins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and many friends.
